About Me

Hi! I am Jodi Jensen, owner of JJ Property Management Services. I am originally from Iowa where I raised my two boys, Todd & Tanner, and worked in the real estate industry for years. I am a permanent resident of Mexico and have been living full time in Puerto Morelos since 2018 with my spouse, Ron Haugen, and our four rescue kittens; Pinguino, Paisley, Paxton & Palmer. We moved down here with the intention of retiring…

After 6 months of laying on the beach every day I decided that I needed to find something to do! So, I started JJ Property Management Services in 2019 intending only to be a property manager, however, it has quickly grown to include rental management, renovating & construction services, as well as design & decorating services. I also have a great team working for me which includes a contractor and construction crew that handles all aspects of construction, renovations & maintenance; a property inspector that handles the weekly inspections on every property; a cleaning staff for all property cleanings; and two assistants that help me keep my sanity.

In addition to my business, Ron and I own RoJo Properties where we purchase, renovate and flip homes; build new homes and have many personally owned rental properties in Puerto Morelos. In addition to that, we also run a successful car rental business in Puerto Morelos. To say that I am beyond busy is an understatement some days!

I love what I do and I love the feeling I get when my clients walk into their house, for the first time or after being away for an extended period of time, and see what I have done to make their house a “home” that they can enjoy for years to come. The smile that they get on their face when they walk through the front door makes everything completely worthwhile!
